Earning the Girl Scout Daisy Cybersecurity badge is easy! Here are the meeting plans on how to do it.

Step 1 Find Out How to Search for an Answer
Pre-Meeting Prep
Before you meet, prepare a list of questions to search. It is easy to keep them Girl Scout related. You can ask about Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scout cookies, or about badges.
Write the questions on slips of paper and place in a brown bag. You only need to do this 3-4 times.
Ask the girls how they would get the answer to a question they have. They can ask someone, look in a book, or with supervision, look online.
Have one girl draw a question from the bag. Using your device (laptop, iPad, phone), search for the answer. See what pops up on the screen and see if it answers the question.
Step 2 Use Clues to Figure Out Who Someone Is
Talk about how cybersecurity investigators use clues to discover someone's identity online.

You can make up a game on your own using what is popular with your girls. Write the questions down and play four corners with the answer.
For example, you can say,
"I am long and yellow. I have a peel. I grow on trees." Give the girls four choices and point to the corner for each choice-Banana, popsicle, strawberry, gum.
It would be fun to use favorite cartoon and show characters.
Step 3 Test Your Powers of Observation
If the weather permits, go outside and have the girls spend one minute observing what they see and hear. No talking or giggling!
Then ask them:
1. What did you see?
2. What did you hear?
3. What did you smell?
4. What did you feel?
You can repeat this at a different spot.
