Step 1 Find Out How Engineers Use Design Thinking to Solve Problems

Materials

Step 2 Create a 3-D Design

Break your girls into groups and have them make a bridge or a fairy garden. For the bridge, you will need some tables that are set a distance apart.

For a sample fairy garden, you can visit Bear and Lion Mama for her guide.

Step 3 Take Action Project (optional)

This part, should you choose to do it, should be sustainable. What is a problem in your community? How can the girls solve it?
